Michael Cannon joined the firm in October 2008. Mr. Cannon completed an internship with the State of Rhode Island Office of the Attorney General as well as spent a summer in the Charlotte field office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation while attending UNC-Charlotte. Prior to joining York Williams & Lewis, LLP as an associate, Mr. Cannon spent a year in private practice.

Mr. Cannon is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, Mecklenburg County Bar and North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.
