Sarah DiFranco joined the firm as an associate in November 2007. Ms. DiFranco is a Charlotte native. At Emory, Ms. DiFranco majored in Business Administration with a second major in Political Science. Between undergraduate and law school, Ms. DiFranco worked five years for a regional financial planning firm located in Atlanta.
During law school at Georgia State, Ms. DiFranco clerked at a civil litigation firm, as well as at a solo practitioner’s family law firm. Ms. DiFranco trained as a civil mediator and became certified in Georgia. In 2006, Ms. DiFranco was awarded litigation honors for outstanding achievement. During her final year of law school Ms. DiFranco was chosen to participate as a pupil in the Weltner American Inn of Court. At the end of the experience, the Inn of Court awarded Ms. DiFranco a scholarship.
Ms. DiFranco is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the Mecklenburg County Bar Association and the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys. In her free time, Ms. DiFranco enjoys reading and volunteering.
