David DiMatteo joined the firm in October 2006. Prior to attending law school Mr. DiMatteo served for five years as a teacher and history department chair for Henrico County Public Schools in Richmond, Virginia. While in law school, he served as a teaching assistant in his law school’s legal research and writing program and a student tutor. Mr. DiMatteo also served as Notes and Comments editor for the Tulane Law Review. His own work has twice been published by the Review.
Mr. DiMatteo is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina and Mecklenburg County Bar Associations and the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys. He enjoys participating in charity road races in the Charlotte area. He is a member of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte and Hawthorne Lane United Methodist Church.
