Mr. York concentrates his practice in serious personal injury litigation, complex commercial litigation, and appellate practice. Mr. York has litigated a significant number of cases, both in State and Federal Courts. He is also experienced in serving as an arbitrator in litigation matters. Mr. York practices in the State Courts of North Carolina and all of the Federal Courts in North Carolina. In addition, he practices before Administrative forums in North Carolina and has argued cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the North Carolina Supreme Court, and the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Mr. York is also a member of the Bars of the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He is a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association, as well as the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys and the Defense Research Institute.
